cost allocation method (CAM)
|
The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) is responsible for the economic regulation of the electricity distribution networks in the National Electricity Market. The AER regulates the electricity industry in line with the National Electricity Law and National Electricity Rules (NER). The AER's approved Cost Allocation Methodology for ENERGEX is published in compliance with the requirements of Clause 6.15.4(h) of the NER. The CAM outlines the principles that ENERGEX will use to allocate costs to services and will be applied in the preparation of capital and operating expenditure forecasts included in ENERGEX’s Regulatory Proposal to the AER. |
