Usually, yes. You can request reimbursement of a call out fee if you have paid a licensed electrical contractor to investigate an issue with your electricity supply which was found to be the result of a fault on our network.

We may pay reasonable charges for work done by a licensed electrical contractor if there's been:
- Loss of supply to a customer's hot water system caused by a fault with our equipment that supplies power to the hot water system, ie. a relay fault
- Loss of supply to a household caused by a fault in our distribution network, ie. blown service fuse.
You need to let us know as soon as possible about the fault.
Reasonable charges include a standard call out fee and, where applicable, standard hourly rates for work completed.
