Please note: Your home and contents insurance policy may cover electrical-related damage (which can include storm events) to your property or appliances. In this case, you should direct your claim to your insurance company in the first instance.
You no longer need to provide outage information in support of your application for an ESHA Grant. Mindful of the ongoing challenges being faced by applicant customers, the Department of Communities has now indicated that customers should disregard the request to obtain outage proof and check again with the department by calling 1800 173 349.
